Hi all, this is to let you know that I have developed a free pattern mining course that you can watch online. The course is designed to introduce students or researchers to the different topics of pattern mining and explain the key algorithms and key concepts. I
The course can be watched online as video lectures and contains PPT slides, exercises and you can also use the SPMF software to try all algorithms that are discussed in the course, and see the source code.
The course is provided for free to share education on this topic with everyone 😉 But note that this course is in BETA because I will keep adding more content to cover more topics in the next months. Currently, the list of topics already covered are:
- Introduction to data mining,
- Frequent itemset and the Apriori and Eclat algorithms,
- The Eclat algorithm,
- Association rules,
- Maximal, closed and generator itemsets,
- Rare pattern mining,
- Correlated and statistically significant patterns,
- High utility itemset mining,
- Sequential pattern mining,
- Sequential rule mining,
- Periodic pattern mining
Hope you will enjoy this free course. If you have any feedback for improvement, you can send me an e-mail or leave a comment at the bottom of this page. I will be pleased to read your comments.
